1xBet becomes Talon Dota 2 main partner

Talon announced on 4 April 2023 that 1xBet would be the main partner of its Dota 2 team. The dateline was the Philippines. Talon said the deal aimed to develop esports in Asia and support fan engagement.

Sean Zhang spoke as Talon CEO. Alex Sommers spoke as 1xBet spokesperson. Zhang described representing regional talent and unifying fans. Sommers welcomed joint Asian growth. The release called the partnership a shared Asian and global development project.

The announcement said Talon’s Dota 2 team began in November 2021. It started in the DPC SEA Division 2 Open Qualifiers. It qualified for TI11 and two Majors. It had recently finished third at the Lima Major.
