1xBet news: Simon Westbury joins as advisor

A report published on 21 July 2025 said 1xBet had picked Simon Westbury as its Strategic Advisor. The job started right away, the announcement said.

Earlier career

In a public post on his professional profile, Westbury said he became CEO of Sport Generate in January 2023. He said that step came after promotions inside Digitain Group. The same post named his earlier Head of Sales and Chief Business Officer roles at Digitain. A Digitain company announcement from 2 February 2023, published by iGamingBusiness, also says he was Chief Business Officer before he became Sport Generate CEO.
