1xBet PFL Sportsbook Deal Announced in 2023

On 23 February 2023, the Professional Fighters League named 1xBet its sportsbook partner. The rights covered Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. It added broadcast tie-ins, social content and four fighter ambassadors.

What the 1xBet PFL Deal Covered

The release tied the deal to broadcast tie-ins in those regions.

Custom social content formed a second strand. PFL and 1xBet would make social media material together. A third element was the ambassador program. Four PFL fighters were to serve as 1xBet brand ambassadors. The release did not name them.

The deal spanned the 2023 season, the playoffs and the World Championship. It also included the Challenger Series and the first PFL Europe season. So the rights were built around a full year, not one event.

PFL chief executive Peter Murray spoke about the deal. The release linked the fan experience to the league's SmartCage technology.

The PFL Season Model Behind the Deal

PFL's 2021 season guide described a regular season, then semifinals and a championship. In that 2021 model, the top four fighters in each division made the playoffs.

Points worked a certain way in that 2021 season. Wins earned three points, draws one, and losses none. Stoppage bonuses added to the total. A first-round stoppage added three bonus points, a second-round stoppage two, a third-round stoppage one. A five-round final then decided each division's champion.

That guide said the 2021 championship prize was one million US dollars per division winner. Those figures and rules come from the 2021 guide. They describe the model at that time, not later seasons.

SmartCage and Cagenomics in PFL Broadcasts

PFL's 2021 guide says the SmartCage measured live statistics and biometric data. Cagenomics then delivered those data during broadcasts.
