1xBet.ie Announces October 2026 Race at Gowran Park

A release published on 30 September 2026 previewed a seven-race card at Gowran Park on 2 October 2026. The 1xBet.ie Supports Safer Gambling race was set as the third event on the National Hunt card.

The race was a handicap hurdle. It was set to run over 2 miles and 80 yards. Horses aged three and over could take part. In a handicap, weights are set by rating. Stronger runners carry more.

The advertised prize fund was €12,000. The first six places were set to pay €7,200, €2,400, €1,200, €600, €360 and €240.

A 12-Month Sponsorship

The meeting was part of an announced 12-month partnership. Under it, 1xBet.ie would sponsor 15 Flat and National Hunt races. The deal also covered the Owners’ Lounge and the Stable Yard Canteen. Those facilities serve owners, trainers and stable staff.

The release said the deal followed 1xBet Ireland sponsorships with Punchestown and The Curragh. The racecourse sits in County Kilkenny and opened on 16 June 1914. The release also previewed later October races at The Curragh.
