1xBet Guide to The Big Dog House by Pragmatic Play

Why The Big Dog House stands apart
The Big Dog House is a Pragmatic Play slot where wild symbols can cover more than one reel position. Every wild carries a 2x or 3x multiplier, and those values combine only when the wilds share a paying line.
Wilds appear as normal 1x1 symbols, expanded 1x3 symbols or colossal 3x3 symbols. They substitute for all symbols except bonus symbols: the red paw, Biggie and Ghost Out. This mix of size and line-specific multiplication defines the game.
Pragmatic Play lists the published studio RTP for this exact title as 96.53%. That figure comes from the studio, rather than a measurement of the demo or an operator setting.

The publisher demo opens with virtual credits in a USD format. Its starting balance was 100,000 units and the selected stake was 2 units during the interface check.
Use the circular introduction arrow to enter the board. The information control at the lower left opens eight rules pages, with navigation arrows beneath the text. Bet adjustment and the spin button are at the lower right.
Buy Features, Super Bets and Ante Bets appear to the left of the grid. Each control shows four options, although no purchase or activation was tested. Their displayed choices therefore do not establish prices or eligibility.

How a base-game line win works
Paying symbols run from left to right across adjacent reels, beginning with the leftmost reel. All wins are multiplied by the bet per line. When several lines win, their awards are added together.
Only the highest win is paid for any one line. A wild can stand in for a missing symbol on a paying line, but its multiplier applies only to that line’s award.
When several wilds belong to one winning line, their 2x and 3x values add together. Each paying line has its own calculation. The multiplier applies to the award on each line that uses the wild.
Wilds appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4 in the base game. Their size may be 1x1, 1x3 or 3x3, and every wild receives a random 2x or 3x multiplier at each spin.
For example, a winning line that uses a 2x wild and a 3x wild applies a combined 5x multiplier to its award. If that line pays 4 units before multiplication, its award becomes 20 units. Other winning lines are calculated individually and then added to the round total. This example follows the rules; it is not a recorded spin.
Reading the paytable at a two-unit stake
The native paytable was recorded with a stake of 2 in virtual units. The figures below describe the symbol awards shown in that setting. They are not cash values or guaranteed returns from any individual spin.
| Symbol | 3 symbols | 4 symbols | 5 symbols |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dark dog, blue frame | 5 | 15 | 75 |
| Long-haired dog, pink frame | 3.5 | 10 | 50 |
| Pug, green frame | 2.5 | 6 | 30 |
| Long-eared dog, teal frame | 2 | 4 | 20 |
| Collar | 1.2 | 2.5 | 15 |
| Bone | 0.8 | 2 | 10 |
| A and K, each | 0.5 | 1 | 5 |
| Q, J and 10, each | 0.2 | 0.5 | 2.5 |
The paytable shows the award bands for three, four and five matching symbols. Card values follow the same pattern at the lower end, with A and K paying more than Q, J and 10.
Use the value shown for the exact symbol and match length at the selected stake. A three-symbol collar pays 1.2 units in this display, and a three-symbol bone pays 0.8. The game checks the reel positions for a paying line before using either figure.
Three bonus symbols decide how free spins begin
Three red paw bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger the free-spins round. Biggie and Ghost Out bonus symbols also appear only on those three reels.
A Biggie symbol included in a winning bonus combination adds the Biggie modifier. Ghost Out adds its own modifier in the same way. Both special bonus symbols can appear together in the trigger.
Before free spins begin, a 3x3 grid of mini reels spins automatically. Each cell reveals 1, 2 or 3 free spins. Adding the nine values produces a total from 9 to 27 spins.
| Trigger symbol | Allowed reels | Feature effect |
|---|---|---|
| Red paw bonus | 1, 3 and 5 | Three trigger the free-spins round. |
| Biggie bonus | 1, 3 and 5 | Adds the Biggie modifier when included in the triggering combination. |
| Ghost Out bonus | 1, 3 and 5 | Adds the Ghost Out modifier when included in the triggering combination. |
The free-spins award is credited after the round finishes. Its game-history entry shows the accumulated win for the full free-spins cycle. Bonus symbols are absent from the reels during the feature, which uses special reels.
Normal free spins use sticky wilds
During free spins, ordinary wilds land on reels 2, 3 or 4 in their 1x1 form. Each receives a random 2x or 3x multiplier when it first lands.
The wild stays in place with that multiplier until the round ends or a Ghost Wild removes it. While it remains on the grid, it can take part in later paying lines without being drawn again.
Free-spin wins are settled across the completed round. The line-based multiplier rules still apply, so several sticky wilds combine when they share the same paying line.
Biggie keeps the same line calculation and changes the size of the sticky wilds. Ghost Out changes a separate part of the game: whether a ghost wild can appear on the last reel.
Ghost wilds can remove a sticky wild
A ghost wild appears only on reel 5 during free spins. It substitutes for every symbol and carries a random 2x or 3x multiplier. Its additional effect changes the sticky-wild arrangement.
Whenever a ghost wild hits, it selects a random sticky wild of any size currently on the grid. That selected wild leaves at the start of the next spin instead of remaining for the whole feature.
Ghost Out removes the ghost wild itself from bonus play. With that modifier active, no ghost wild can land on reel 5, so the removal process cannot occur. The sticky-wild behaviour remains in place.
| Configuration | Sticky wild form | Ghost wild on reel 5 | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| No modifier | 1x1 | Can land | It may remove a random sticky wild. |
| Biggie | 1x3 or 3x3 | Can land | Larger sticky wilds remain removable. |
| Ghost Out | 1x1 | Cannot land | Sticky wilds cannot be removed this way. |
| Biggie and Ghost Out | 1x3 or 3x3 | Cannot land | Large sticky wilds stay through the feature. |
These four configurations describe the modifier effects supported by the rules. They do not imply that any particular modifier has a higher chance of appearing.
