Winning combinations and wild substitution
The reels are set across a 5×3 grid, and symbols including swords, pirate hats and gold coins must land winning combinations across 20 paylines to award a win. All symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel. The WILD symbol substitutes for all symbols.
All symbols pay from left to right on selected paylines, and all wins are multiplied by the bet per line. Only the highest win is paid per line. When a spin wins on multiple paylines, all wins are added to the total win.
Triggering the two-stage free spins round
The FREE SPINS round is split into two stages. Hitting 3, 4 or 5 WILD symbols on the same base game spin triggers the FREE SPINS feature with a random number of free spins. Three WILD symbols award 5, 6, 7 or 8 free spins at random. Four WILD symbols award 8, 9, 10 or 11 free spins at random.
Five WILD symbols award 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15 free spins at random. Hitting 3, 4 or 5 WILD symbols on the same free spin during the round retriggers the feature and awards a random number of free spins from the same values as in the base game. Special reels are in play during the round.
First-stage markings and second-stage multipliers
During the first stage, the WILD symbols that triggered the feature leave a marking on their cells; every time another WILD symbol hits, it also marks its cell, and every time a WILD symbol hits in an already marked cell the value of the marking is upgraded, up to 5 times.
The second stage starts after all free spins from the first stage end, and at the beginning of the second stage 2, 3, 4 or 5 additional free spins are awarded randomly. STICKY WILD symbols appear only during the second stage of the FREE SPINS round, and they substitute for all symbols except for the original WILD symbol.
All the markings from the first stage transform into WILD symbols that carry a multiplier depending on the level of the original markings; they remain on the screen for the whole duration of the second stage, their multipliers apply to all winning combinations that pass through them, and if more WILDS are part of the same winning combination their multipliers add to each other.
The second stage of the feature cannot be retriggered.
