How the fishing collection feature works

Only the highest win is paid for a winning combination on the same way. Wins on different ways are added together. Base-game and bonus wins are also added to the relevant ways before the total is multiplied by the base bet.
That rule matters when several symbols overlap. Players do not receive separate payments for a shorter match when a longer match already wins on the same way.

How tumbles resolve each spin
A paid match clears its symbols. The rest fall into the gaps and new symbols drop in from above. This may make another match on the same spin.
Wins are not credited to the balance after each tumble. They accumulate and are added once every tumble caused by the base spin has finished. Fish symbols explode and tumble normally in the base game.
Free spins change that handling. Fish symbols do not explode there and instead fall to the bottom as tumbles continue. The free spins award is paid after the complete round finishes.

The retrigger ladder follows the number of fishermen collected, not the number of individual spins. Fishermen collected during the feature remain counted until the round ends.
Here is the practical sequence of the retrigger rule:
- Each collected fisherman adds another count toward the next fourth fisherman.
- The fourth fisherman awards ten additional spins and activates the first multiplier level.
- Later fourth fishermen raise the multiplier to 3x and then 10x.
- Added spins are played after the preceding group of free spins ends.
- The active multiplier applies to the retriggered spins, and no fourth retrigger follows the third.
The multiplier therefore affects both money-symbol collection values and wins during the relevant feature. It is not a separate multiplier that applies only to the fishermen themselves.
Wild symbols and their limited positions
The wild substitutes for ordinary paying symbols, but it cannot replace scatter or fisherman symbols. This distinction protects the feature trigger and the collection symbol from ordinary substitution.
