1xBet Joins SiGMA Foundation for Ethiopia and Uganda Projects

On 11 June 2025, the SiGMA Foundation named 1xBet as its second gaming-industry partner. The plan was to fund aid work in Ethiopia and Uganda. The post gave goals and target dates. It did not report any finished building. It named Tangu Utoto Foundation as the local partner in Kasese.
What the 1xBet Deal Covered
The deal was said to cover building plans and a fundraising expedition. In Bonga, Ethiopia, the plan lists four classrooms. They would sit next to a Women Empowerment Center. The post also names a women's Community Center there. In Kasese, Uganda, the goal was a new kindergarten. A Camino Portuguese walk was set for September.
Bonga, Ethiopia: Classrooms and a Community Center
The target for the Bonga classrooms was January 2026. That was a goal, not a set handover date. The women's Community Center was to make money from rentals. The rent list names shops, bedrooms, offices and a meeting hall. The income was to pay for training, school fees, instructors and maintenance.
Kasese, Uganda: Replacing a Mud-Structure Kindergarten
In Kasese, the group worked with a local partner, Tangu Utoto Foundation. The old school used mud rooms and tents. The new plan had three classrooms and staff rooms. It also had toilets and clean water. It was planned for up to 300 children aged 3 to 9. The group called it its first project in Uganda.
How the 1xBet Support Was Described
The group said 1xBet backed the projects and also supported the planned September Camino Portuguese fundraising expedition. Keith Marshall, its Chief Philanthropy Officer, spoke in the post.
