1xBet reports HYPE Quito event in Ecuador

HYPE MMA held its first event in Ecuador on 4 October 2026. The venue was Coliseo General Rumiñahui in Quito. 1xBet was the title sponsor. A company report on 6 October described the event and an earlier press conference.

At that press conference, fighters took questions from journalists. They talked about the matchups coming up.

Advertised rules for Aldo versus Vera

The pairing of José Aldo and Marlon Chito Vera was advertised as submission-only grappling. The limit was ten minutes. Under those rules, there would be no judges' decision. A fighter could only win by submission.

Vera spoke about his earlier fight with Aldo. He said it was the biggest of his life and helped his career. Aldo said grappling feels natural to him. He started jiu-jitsu as a child and competed most weekends.

The release presented the event as part of the HYPE Fighting and 1xBet partnership in Latin America.
